Catholic Rosary Created To Look Like Taj Mahal White Jade Pater Beads Amazonite Medal with Relic...

This is the most spectacular rosary I have ever made. This took me moths to put together. My daughter was able to visit the Taj Mahal a couple of years ago. She was absolutely amazed at its beauty and size. Building began in 1632 and was completed in 1653. It is made of White Marble and is completely covered with with imbedded jewels and semi-precious local stones. They still have the ancestors of the original jewelers making pieces in the same manner as their ancestors did all those hundreds of years ago. My daughter purchased for her self a tall beautiful vase which she keeps of mini lights in it so when they are on you can see through the marble! Won't even tell you how much she paid for it. For Christmas this year I opened up my gift from her and this vase in the picture was in the package. I was shocked. Someone mentioned I should make a rosary to look like it because it is so exquisite. So I started looking for pieces.

This rosary is what I came up with. This is truly a one-of-a-kind piece - in the world - and will not be duplicated. Every tiny piece of color in the vase is an inlaid piece which matches absolutely perfectly with the part carved out of the marble. You cannot feel any edges anywhere. My daughter watched the person making her vase. It took over a month to make so they had to mail it to her when it was done. How cool is that? The beads pn this rosary are white jade. The Our Father beads are Amazonite which is a gemstone where nature has combined lapis and malachite. The brown on the vase is either bloodstone or cats eye. My spacers are Czech iridescent glass beads in green/blue. The middle medal is gold and silver from Italy of Our Lady of Fatima with a bubble on the back holding a relic of soil from the shrine. The cross is exquisite. It is made out of White Shells. The cross is 2 x 1 1/4 inches. The designs on the front and the Lord's Prayer on the back are 18 kg. There is a very nice clear finish on the cross for protection and strength. Gold bugle beads were used for spacers between Our Father sections. This rosary has a hanging length of 22 inches. The loop would be like putting on a 28 inch necklace.

All my rosaries are made without chains to snag, break or tarnish.
